Should I be home when Clean Hive is at my home?

This is up to you! We will go over all the details prior to our first clean so if you have work, or things to do that is ok. It is common for our clients to be away. That's why many of them decide to provide us with a key and a code if they have an alarm system for their home. All keys are securely marked and controlled to maintain your security

This arrangement works very well and allows us to access your home to clean at the appropriate day and time. If you do not provide us a key, and you are not home to let our team members in at their scheduled cleaning time, a lock-out charge may be applied.

What cleaning products and equipment do you use?

We use ALL of our own organic products and cleaning equipment. You can keep yours safe and sound and rest assured all of our products are organic, certified and safe for children, animals and your home.

Should I do anything before you arrive?

Very thoughtful of you - yes, it can help our team members if you pick up or put away any clothes, children’s toys or other items before we arrive. It is also appreciated if you could make sure your pet is safe and secure before our cleaning team arrives. We do know it's not always possible and that is ok too.

How do I pay?

For recurring services, payment is due on your regularly scheduled cleaning day. We offer 3 options for payment: auto-billing, card payment via invoice or bank payment. Sorry, checks not accepted. Cash not accepted (except in the instance of gratuity, if desired). 

What if I need to reschedule or skip a cleaning?

We realize that life gets busy and sometimes things happen requiring you to move things around. We ask that you please let us know at least 48 hrs. in advance, so we can change our team member's schedules or arrange for an alternative time and date for your cleaning.

How do I know what Cleaning Package is right for my home?

We provide a free consultation to get to know you and your needs so you can decide what the right next service, cadence and needs are for you and your home.

How often should I schedule my cleaning?

This is up to you. We will discuss your needs during the consultation and design a plan that works best. If you feel you need to change or update it after we start....that is OK!

Can I customize a specific Cleaning Package for me?

Of course! Looking for a deep clean of 1 room and a general cleaning of everything once a month? Maybe a special event cleaning to catch up with a deep cleaning of all appliances? You got it. You tell us what you need and we'll provide a free consultation.

What about holidays?

We'll call well in advance of any those nationally recognized holidays to arrange for a better day and time. Speaking of the holidays, be sure to let us know if you are ever in need of extra cleaning in advance of a family get together, dinner or party - we're here to help.
